yeah the currency exchange helps right now big time. Although I think it has berdan primers which are corrosive. Really the same or a little lighter load as the yugo 7.62x39 I have. The norinco stuff used to be values at $200 per 1k and before it was banned in the $100-130 range I believe.

Not yet... People have received theirs and there have been some issues with multiple reticles appearing when intensity is turned up.

I know of two people who posted they sent theirs back and received replacements. So, they either have some set aside for warranty or some that haven't shipped and they are pulling warranty replacements from that stockpile.

Yeah I have read very similar issues. We both know vortex will make it right. Although that is why I jumped ship and went back with an eotech for the time being. I do not think the vortex pst gen 2 1-6 will have the problems as it is basically the optics from the razor. So I will find out on thursday. Still need to order the aero precision mounts for it.

Maybe you are waiting patiently as the longer you wait the better the chances of getting the quality I am sure you want.

We are now at 3+ weeks. Getting very very PO'd. Holster is already here, permit is nowhere in sight. Clearly, gonna have to go down there and crack some skulls.

Called the County Clerk's office ... they are telling me I'll have to wait a few more weeks. They told me to expect total turnaround time to be 6 weeks. Hope I don't start incurring storage charges.

Maybe Ill pick up a VP9sk tomorrow, post a picture of it, just to help you through your wait.

That's crazy. Is it because of the county you're in? I just have to pick up a bill of sale from my FFL holder and take that to the sheriff's office where they add the info to my permit, give me a coupon to take back to the FFL, where I am handed my firearm. Being from the south, i thought that was excessive.

Lived in NJ an eon ago. I HATED all the BS with the pistol permits. Trip to the State Police barracks. Print TWO cards, get TWO people to vouch for my character, PAY a fee, then wait a few months, to be able to buy ONE handgun.

Tough to put up with all that BS.

I could have had as many as six permits on the same application, but the catch is you can only buy one handgun in any 30 day period (and there is no consensus on whether the day you buy one gun counts as one of the 30, so every place advises you to wait 31 days). I got 3, at $2 each, good for 90 days.

Which reminds me, I've still got one unused permit left and it expires next Wednesday. Might have to do a little shopping this afternoon and see if anything calls my name while she's off getting her hair done.

A few miles east of Philly in Camden County. Far enough past the City of Camden for comfort, not as far as Berlin or the Atco dragstrip.

Tomorrow I should be picking up pistol #3, the shop that held my Colt until the next business day did the same thing again for me . . . and I just called them to see if I could get them to hold something I was looking at on their long gun rack for me.

As many issues as we have here in Florida I'm so glad I can walk in, buy a gun, and walk out with the gun in 15 minutes.

Back when I still lived in NJ THE best gun shop around was Ray's Sport Shop up on Rt 22 in N. Plainfield. But bought a few S&W revolvers from a very small, mostly LE shop ; Colisimos? I think in Camden area. Spelling probably off.

I go back now and there are about zero good gun shops, since Ray's closed.
