No, our vehicles and motors are shrinking as well. Hopefully, there will always be a few "niche" vehicles allowed for enthusiasts.

Maybe. Hell in my mind the ultimate Niche vehicle for value performance enthusiasts have always been the Evo and the STi. Now both have cruise control, and starting next year both come with an optional Automatic. If the niche stays around i think its more likely the name plate will be there with a slight resemblance to its former self.

Well let us hope there will always be a "carve out" in the industry for enthusiasts. The good news is that manufacturers are doing amazing things with motors now, so even V-8 displacements have shrunk while power and efficiency are improving.
