Now I know that! I have a last shot before do it all over again... looks like BF can be use for fixing minor imperfections when you buffet with machine... I'll give that a try today a least until I go to the car show... then I do it all over again! I look it up in a positive way! More practice make perfection!

If you properly polished your paintwork, I honestly can't see how you ruined your entire car by buffing off a wax, unless you were using a dirty dishcloth or something. Since you're just starting, I think your polishing technique might be the culprit, since it's possible you didn't remove all the swirls in the first place?

Beading water is the main culprit of the largest problem with my paint: rain water etchings mostly on the roof and shoulders.

Mike Phillips discussed this before since he can see the idea behind water sheeting being more exposed for its benefits...

He said that even though water beading is actually a harbinger for a bigger problem (waterspots), people associate it with vitality of their LSP. If the water is beading, you know protection is there - if it's not, you need to reapply your LSP. If a sudden shift in priority towards "sheeting" were to take place, a lot of sales would be lost due to the prescribed notion that "beading" is good and means that the wax is effective and doing its job.

Maybe if the detailing community in a collective effort tried to pressure chemical companies to come out with LSPs that sheet water instead of beading it, this problem will stop. As for not knowing if your LSP is gone yet, well, I guess people will need to actually stick to a waxing schedule instead of waiting for the effects to wear off.

Believe me I took my time to do every step correctly! And the car was perfect under the light until I wax... I can tell you I wax it like I was fixing the paint, the only think I might happen is when I wax lower corners, the wax pick up dirt and I didn't pay attention... but I check the pad and didn't see nothing only wax... I polished with BF to see if helps...

How much more 'slippery' would products have to be to be able to sheet all the water off? Surely if there was some reasonable process we'd have heard of it by now.
