I have a last shot before do it all over again... looks like BF can be use for fixing minor imperfections when you buffet with machine... I'll give that a try today a least until I go to the car show... then I do it all over again! I look it up in a positive way! More practice make perfection!

![]() Beading water is the main culprit of the largest problem with my paint: rain water etchings mostly on the roof and shoulders. Mike Phillips discussed this before since he can see the idea behind water sheeting being more exposed for its benefits... He said that even though water beading is actually a harbinger for a bigger problem (waterspots), people associate it with vitality of their LSP. If the water is beading, you know protection is there - if it's not, you need to reapply your LSP. If a sudden shift in priority towards "sheeting" were to take place, a lot of sales would be lost due to the prescribed notion that "beading" is good and means that the wax is effective and doing its job. Maybe if the detailing community in a collective effort tried to pressure chemical companies to come out with LSPs that sheet water instead of beading it, this problem will stop. As for not knowing if your LSP is gone yet, well, I guess people will need to actually stick to a waxing schedule instead of waiting for the effects to wear off. |
