No, you just don't understand sarcasm.

Those "insults" in the Alabama episode was sarcasm, because they were intended to rile up people, not because they actually believed what they wrote on their cars. In other words "make fun of". You on the other hand, believe that I am a d!ck, therefore you are insulting rather than using sarcasm. So yeah, you don't get sarcasm, so we'll leave it as that.

I'll leave you with 2 questions:

1. what does a comedian do if you take away his ability to "make fun of" people?
2. how does someone hate American cars, and yet buy one of the most expensive American cars twice (the Ford GT)?

I'm curious to know your answer.

see post above. There is a bias toward American sarcasm, not a bias against American cars. The Alabama episode mentioned above is proof of this: Clarkson loves making fun of Americans; since it is a car show, therefore cars are the primary subject of his sarcasm.

Americans like you don't understand sarcasm, that's what makes you attractive targets to someone who does.
