I love Top Gear (the real one) for their coverage of all cars... EXCEPT American cars. They do such a great job with everything else, but they are so obnoxiously bias to anything America it is kind of ridiculous.

I'm not a Camaro cheerleader like a lot of people, but I do think it was absolutely stupid when they compared the 5th gen Camaro SS to a freaking AMG Merc that costs more than double the price.

UK's Top Gear will always be biased against American cars simply because they're from the UK.

I'm pretty sure it's a requirement as a British citizen to hate any/everything American.

Something about them being bitter that we're not still a colony...

Hammond (I think that is his name????) usually likes the American cars, especially the muscle cars while the other two just spurt out hate against them.

But take that with a grain of salt, as when they drive them, they usually end up liking them. The one guy absoutely fell in love with driving the Ford GT and the Corvette ZR1.

They can never admit anything American is good. I understand the bitterness from the whole Revolutionary war and all but hell we kept them from speaking German. I would imagine them and all of Europe should show a little apprecitation.

Yeah, Jeremy was pretty head over heels for the ZR1 after their American road trip. They give in from time to time.

The one thing I will say is that they certainly do not take themselves too seriously and it really feels like they are just busting balls on us
