Don't take this the wrong way, but man.....I think you may have been born a few decades too late!

I'm 44, and my first car ('71 Olds) didn't even have an HEI distributor, my 2nd ('78 Z28) didn't have a computer (thankfully!), but over the years I've learned to evolve . Who would have ever thought 20 years ago that we'd be talking about a 550hp+ Camaro that you can run low 12's in the quarter and then drive across the country with the A/C on?

Technology is a great thing!

Agreed. I had an 03 Cobra and feel the same way.

I'm contemplating trading my SS for a GT 500. I'm impatient and want the SC today. I'm weary of killing my 100K warranty on my SS and I've been hearing about blown engines lately so I don't think I want to add one to mine. I also don't think you'll be able to get a ZL1 for MSRP when they begin to arrive.

Huh? I'm not sure what you're asking.

If it wasn't for Ford keeping the Mustang alive there would be no Camaro. We owe them thanks for that regardless of what you think of the car. I like aspects of the Dodge, Mustang, and the Camaro, but unfortunately I can't get a combo of all three.

My wife couldn't see over the Mustang dash & hood. Made the decision much easier.

It's already been shoved out of the garage by the Camaro and I doubt I'm going to drive the Mustang much anymore.
The problem i see with "liking the Mustang" is everybody else does too!

I bet i see 10 or 12 Mustangs to every Camaro around here! I don't understand it, its just the way it is.

That's ok though - it will make my Camaro look that much better

Of course, who wants to remain stock! There`s not a stock car out there that is under 100k that i feel is fast enough for me.
