I didn't know the 6.2L was that bad on low end torque either. They need to put that v6 in a lil Ranger pick up. Now that would be fun!

My guess, and it is just a guess, is because the 5.3L and former 4.6L owners of the world are who they want to convert here with the appeal being a sort of 'even better fuel economy than what you had before all while fixing those low end torque issues you guys keep complaining about' approach.

I am 90% sure that is where the first turbo hits before hitting the 2nd turbo and the overlap is from being the engine being under light load. It's a sequential turbo I believe.

Yeah, it's not exactly a rocket. I have a 5.3L in my Silverado. I was originally going to get the 6.2L, but had such a hard time finding one that wasn't decked out in LTZ trim with all the whiz-bang options that I gave up. I got a good price on my truck and with my (then decent) Employee discount, I couldn't pass it up. I still have my regrets sometimes but I don't sweat it too much. My truck has done everything I've ever needed it to do.
I didn't buy it to tow a house or to drag race, so it's worked for me thus far.

The Toyota Torque...um SPAZ...is weird to look at...what was going on there? Throttle sticking then they pull it off by hand then floor it again?
