![]() Never seen it. Basically if your running around in the open on hardcore you die almost immediately.... |

yeah, not behind cover = death. It could be doable on a map like Favel (think thats the name, the Brazil map), or any map with fairly close quarters and not a lot of open ground you have to run across.

You don't run in the open. As an example, take underpass on the west side of the map there are closely spaced buildings with roof top jumps and such. They take the speed perks and then they run in and out of buildings and jump on roofs etc and back down but they stay in those close confined areas. In that map they'd hardly ever touch the east side or the canal. You can't line them up with a scope from distance because they're back inside or behind something within 12 feet and the map is blurry from rain so it takes a second unless you're in the east with them. In skidrow they just run through the 2nd story of the two buildings and stay out of the street. They'll get killed 15-20times but they made 30 kills. It doesn't work in maps like Favela or Highrise because even the indoor spaces are too large- so it's not every map.
Then their target zone on a 42" tv is about the size of a softball so they just unload both barrels and keep running around the next corner even if they miss. The best defense is a submachine gun with a holo so you can quick ADS. |

Heres a kinda ok vid with dual 1887s but it shows how the guys move. This guy isn't even bothering with the speed perks. I don't think this one is hardcore but even though he survives some shots, he really doesn't get hit that often and his killzone circle is huge. |

Here's a better 1. I guess I was wrong about highrise- but I don't see them there as much. |

Ok so I ditched my HB sensor on all my gun's aside from the FAL (sniping).
I've found that when I am using the HB sensor, I tend to rely on it too much.... watching for blip's rather than paying attention to the map. Then of course, only 1/3 of the players are even picked up by the sensor. I've also found when using a light assault rifle (ACR/M4) WITHOUT the HB sensor I am a better overall player. Mainly because I don't have that sensor to lean on and let me know if there is someone in each room (which is a false sense of security anyways due to the amount of people using ninja), so now I approach each situation with caution. Too many times I'd let my guard down or not pay full attention because of the false security provided by the Heart beat sensor. |
