Disappointing. The maxim is still not running.

It does, however, turn over. We gave it a few lurches to check to starter system. Thats all we were willing to do though seeing how the front of the bike has a giant hole in it where the oil filter used to be. As such, theres no oil in the bike at the moment.

55 bucks plus shipping (another 5) to get a retrofit kit for the oil filter. Converts the stock POS system to a spin-off, automotive type filter. That way we won't have this problem again.

OH, that SUCKS man...

So...The oil filter shot off while you were trying to get it started, or you don't know what happened with it?

Oh we know what happened to it. We cut the damn thing off.

It looked like it had gotten hit by a rock at some point (its right on the front of the bike with no shielding) and then when my grandpa couldn't get it off he ended up rounding the bolt and completely ruining it. Only way to get it off was to drill out the bolt and then take a cut-off wheel to it.

P.S. - In all seriousness though, I'm sure that, should GM choose to respond (this is far from a huge jump over the V6 camaro, and looks still goes to us hands down), they'll just retune it a bit. The engine is far from maxed out - as evidenced by the gains seen so far.

Plus - I'd like to see track results for the new mustang. All that power is for naught if they can't get it to the ground.
