So a few bad apples ruin the reputation for all the great guys playing and donating there time and money to help out their new and old communities. Too bad you feel that way. Our previous team owner (Ralph Wilson) was very philanthropic. The Bills sold for a record 1.4billion after he died. Do you know where the money went... about 700 million went to a trust to be distributed to various charitable organizations in Buffalo. 500 million went to the City of Detroit (Ralphs home town) for the same causes. The rest went to his wife and extended family.

I don't mean to interupt the flashbacks to the Marino days..Vikings are two wins away from the Super Bowl, which is also in MN.

Wouldn’t mind seeing the Vikings win the SB at home. Although my wife likes the Eagles. Wouldn’t mind them winning it all either.

Much higher scoring now? What have you been watching? Just Miami? Definitely not the 81 Chargers.... 83 Redskins.....your 84 Dolphins.......92 Cowboys....94 49'ers.......98 Vikings.....and definitely not the "greatest show on turf" 99 Rams. All of these teams are amongst the top scoring teams of all time. Your post 2000 high scoring teams have been the 07 Pats, 11 Saints, 13 Broncos, and the 16 Falcons. FYI, the 1950 LA rams are still the highest scoring offense in the history of the NFL, averaging 38 points per game. What constitutes the best "passer"? 1 good season? 1 good game? 1 good throw? None of these. What makes a QB a great passer is their career stats, what else can be used to compare one to another? Like it or not, Marino ranks below many QB's. Yes he was the first QB to exceed 5000 yards in a season, but one season doesn't make you great. What you do over your entire career does. Who is a better passer than Marino? Brady, Manning, and Montana just to name a few. Add Drew Brees as well. I never stated that anyone was better than Marino just because of completion percentage, just the fact of what it was and where he ranks, and it's not very good.

Bro, I’m talking about the now high powered offensive scoring OVERALL. Not one individual team. It’s a passing league now. Pass, then run, overall. If you can’t see that, then we are done here. Because that is a fact. In the 80’s and 90’s it was run to set up the pass. Well except for Miami. They had no run game while Marino was there. Defense was average or below average as well. Everyone andtheir mother knew Miami was throwing every play.
What constitute the best passer? Your eyes. Stats are nice, but you have to have context. Comparing any QB from 20-30years ago is just dumb. You keep doing that, you’ll just be laughed at by anyone who knows about football back then and now. I wasn’t validating Marino as the greatest qb of all time. I said Passer. Learn the difference and then maybe we can talk. None of those QB’s you named could throw the rock as well as Marino. No matter how you slice it. I’m done on this topic. Because it’s like talking to a brick wall. Football is not the same as it was 2-3 decades ago. So you can’t compare numbers. If you believe it is, then that’s your prerogative. Can’t wait for the playoffs! And the Draft! LOL

You stated that the game is higher scoring now than it was in the 80's-90's. But most of the top scoring teams came from the 80's-90's. Anyone who watched football then and now knows this. Except you. Everyone knew the 1950 Rams were throwing the ball too....but they couldn't stop them from scoring. Miami did have a couple decent backs during Marino's tenure....they hardly ran the ball anyway...the backs were just extra receivers. My eyes decide who the best QB is? My eyes liked Michael Vick when he was in ATL....because I'm an ATL fan....no QB was as fast, ever. But this doesn't make him the best QB just because he could fly. You can't make a judgement with your eyes when your biased towards one team. That's why statistics exist. What constitutes a great passer? Yards gained, completion%, TD vs INT, QB rating. This is why you don't find Marino rated better than 5th all time on any list made by anyone. I guess all the people who make these lists don't know what they are talking about either....They should all put Marino #1 because PMC said so! ![]() Though a rule has been changed here or there. It's still a 100 yard field, the size of the ball is still the same... the same amount of players are on both sides of the ball....and no rule drastically changes the results a QB gets vs. what they did in the 80's-90's. The only rule in regards to QB's is the DEFENDER can now get flagged for hits that didn't get flagged then. You tell ANYONE who knows football now and then with 1/2 a brain that somehow this improves todays QB's statistics, they will horse laugh you. The rule changes have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what their stats are. They are all computed the same way regardless of what era they played in. If you want to live in your "Miami Dolphin Marino is the greatest" fantasy, go ahead. I live in REALITY. Tom Brady is the best QB ever, Marino doesn't even come close to Brady.

Marino is the best to ever throw the ball. Greatest QB is debatable. End of story!

To be honest, I think Peyton Manning is the greatest QB. Is that bias? LMAO
DAN Marino still the best passer of all time.

Brady has never played for a shit team in his life.... He's definitely one of the best, but he isn't the greatest... and don't even get me started with the whole rings conversation...because Bradshaw had 4 rings forever and no one confuses him with being a great QB...
