This comment in the "Questions and answers about this item section" had me laughing when I was trying to imagine what that scene would look like.

Q: Somebody out there MUST buy the car and go to the Bloomington Corvette show in Illinois. If I had the "spare change" I would do it in a heartbeat (no pun intended) The looks on the "pureists" faces would be worth the cost of the car. Massive heartattacks for all !!Neat Ride !!

There is probably a lot of people in Alabama who take enough grief for being stereotyped as "Dumb Rednecks" who would love to see this "thing" sold and gone to anywhere but in their state. A Third World country would be a good fit for it.

I'd rock it! In my neck of the CA wood's I've seen an old van with a DRW pick up conversion on the back, and other cars made into pickups for hauling fire wood and such.

I'd have no problem paying $900 smog'ed.
