you forget my point..............They need a supercharger to make it fast....the c6 is rediculously fast to begin with. The zr1 is a amazing ride but you also have the NA viper which is a fun ride as well.

You could make the same argument against the Viper. They needed two extra cylinders to make it fast...*prod*

4.6 liters(engine displacement) + 2.3 liters(supercharger displacement)=6.9 liters!!! Therefore I agree. There is no replacement for displacement.
I had a 1969 428 CJ Mach I years back and I loved the torque of that beast. But my little 281 cui engine with the twin screw on it feels pretty sweet when you nail the go pedal (and it sounds awesome). It pulls hard from 2500 rpm and I only need to shift at 6000 rpm (just like my old big block). It's shown quite a few vintage big block muscle cars its tail lights at the 1/4 mile track.

Yup that should be a pretty wild ride, what do you figure about 600 HP at the flywheel? Then I'd worry.... a little. My brother in law plans on supercharging a new Camaro sometime in the future. Until then I'm still pretty safe with a 500 HP Mustang.
