definitely needs a driver mod.
as for overprice i don't think so, the amount of equipment and development in this car justify's its price.

20%??? youre crazy. a Boss 302 put down 416rwhp vs 370rwhp for an LS3 Camaro on the same dyno. it makes plenty of torque in a lighter package and with the torque multiplication (geaRing), actually puts down more torque to the wheels than the SS! do some research.

also, the 8400rpm capabilities allow for even MORE gearing before the engine starts running out of breath

did they adjust the suspension for ideal drag conditions as well? whats the point of an adjustable suspension if you dont use it?

if you compare those numbers to the ones they got with the base GT it is quite the improvement.

Something not right if its 416rwhp. Either its underrated or someone pulling somebody's leg.

Word is the PCM has a hard limit of 7,800.

I got a chance to look at the Boss 302 crate motor this week. CNC porting looks great. Exhaust port diameter appears to be the same as the standard Coyote. Very impressive motor. Cannot wait to see track times with the owner's car.

Should have it ready to roll at Texas Mile in a few weeks.

Inside Line/Edmunds tends to post higher numbers than most others. What I would call a "loose" dyno.

thats what i initially thought but what was the excuse for the LS3 dynoing 370rwhp on the same dyno? Its loose for everyone that doesnt have an LS3??

That was not the point. Their dyno tests tend to be on the high side and not generally duplicated.

Typical dyno run for a Boss owner may be closer to 390WHP. That is all.

its not much of a point though if youre gonna ignore the 370rwhp they got with the LS3

My LS3 Camaro dynoe'd 368whp with a CAI and cat-back. Too many factors and not enough data to account for the discrepancies. Every car is different just like every dyno is different. Many variables to account for.

You can do the same search/research and see their results are high. 2010 GT500 rings some bells....

it does ring some bells. Maybe the dyno is too generous, but it still dynoed 46rwhp more than the ls3.

The thing about dynos is just like the track. If you are going to truly compare 2 vehicles on the dyno you need to run them back to back. So they are on the same equipment in the same weather conditions(and yes I understand the numbers are corrected).

Just like the track. If you really want to compare you need drivers of roughly equal skill running at the same time.

i understand that. I just find it odd that everybody points out how the inside line dyno is "generous" and apply that logic to all their dynos except their LS3 dyno as if it was a conspiracy.
