I don't know about the other guy, but I'm talking about the offense not running the ball more in the last qtr and a half, including the one pass play that was strip sacked. The ATL defense was on the field for over 90 plays. of course they were gassed at the end of the game. that's common sense. How do you prevent that from happening? RUN THE CLOCK OUT. Again, it was incompetent situational football.

See, now I can find some sense in what your saying PMC. There's a big difference between a couple plays with four minutes to go and a quarter and a half, especially with the defense giving up the ghost on the last four possessions in regulation. It seemed Ryan snapped the ball earlier than nesscessary several times in the second half, sometimes with more than 10 seconds left on the play clock. This also played into the Pats hands as they needed all the time they could get. This showed some of his lack of big game skills.

It amazes me that one play on offense gets blamed for losing the game, when the defense gave up five consecutive scoring drives and 32 straight points. How logical is that? 98%? More? Less? Your myoptic point of view is illogical. 17 straight minutes of defensive collapse of historic proportions, yet you are obsessed with 17 seconds of offense. Can't you admit that the defense has more to shoulder than the offense in loseing the game? That would be logical.

Yes I would say it's the wrong call. Going with a 98% to win call is ALWAYS the proper call.

It's pure mathematical fact.

Everything else doesn't matter.

No need to explain any more.

What's really hilarious?

Shanahan didn't have the mental capacity to figure this out.

You have it sitting right in front of you, and you STILL can't figure it out!

There is one thing I still haven't figured out yet, if I put your brain and Shanahan's together, could I possibly get an IQ above 80?

I think it's has to be around 99,9999999% in favor of NO.

Oh no, not that. That's as lame as the number one offense in the NFL only scoreing three touchdowns in the Super Bowl and percentage quoting people claiming two runs are the difference in 60 minutes of football. This should sound familiar, better luck next time and next year! Lol

Ok then how about this.

Since you don't agree that going with a 98% play is the best option.

We obviously cannot get the players back on the field and do it, But we can create the same scenario.

With a deck of cards.

We deal Texas Hold - EM

The flop and the turn are already dealt out as

Ace of hearts.....Ace of Spades......6 of clubs.......7 of clubs

I hold the Ace of diamonds.....Ace of clubs

You hold the 9 of clubs.....and the 10 of clubs.

I am a 98% favorite as with only one card left to deal (the river), the only possible card that can beat my hand is the 8 of clubs.

Any time, any place, any wager. I'm game.

I bet that Tom Brady wins his fifth Super Bowl. I did and I won. Beat the spread and the over. And hit the third quarter square. Ahhh, what's the percentage on that? By the way I hit the third quarter square because Gostenkowski missed his first extra point of the year, yes he was 100%, l believe that is higher than Matt Bahrs FG percentage that your whole senario hinges on. There's proof of your hypothetical conjecture not being entirely accepted as a factual actuality. Have a nice day!

The only thing that keeps me coming back to this thread is your laughable ignorance.

You'll need those winnings if you think a 98% favorite is a bad play.

Do your own math. Oh, I forgot...... you can't do math.

The names are Matt Bryant and Stephen Gostkowski. You don't even know their names!

Matt Bryant was 34 of 37 this year on field goals. That is 91.9% Two of those misses were from over 50 yards. He had a long of 59 yards. He went 56 of 57 for 98.2% on extra points.

Stephen Gostkowski was 27 of 32 on field goals, for 84.4% He had a long of 53. He went 46 of 49 on extra point attempts for 93.9%

But how could you possibly know their stats. You don't even know their names!

The only thing you have proved is your lack of a normal IQ.

Everything I posted is backed up by mathematical certainty, it's a shame you missed your 5th grade math class!

Well well well, I wonder if I can get you to come back for another five days to keep reliveing your nightmare of epic proportions, the twenty five point lead that the Falcons let slip away while you cling desperately to the notion that you were one or two plays away from victory? You know what I do know? Patriots 34, Falcons 28. Hahaha. Your the biggest fish of all time. Hey, go google that! Oh yeah, have a nice day! Lol

You must be asleep cause your dreaming!!
Dreaming of, ohhh, two pass attempts!!
You do realize that a sure sign of losing an argument is when one side begins loseing there composer and start calling the other person names. You've been doing that for the last three days now.... Looks like you and the Falcons have a lot in common!
