So I was reading through a lot of the comments trying to find something that it reminded me of. One of em had a picture of an old lady with 7 bad face lifts.. (I think some actor) that nailed it pretty good... but... the Sloth is the real winner. Man this thing is ugly.. although I don't like the current mustang either. The gt350 to me looks amazing, but the rest of em are nope in my book. Not trying to side rail anything here, but has anyone heard anything about the Dodge Demon yet?

Torque is equally important as horsepower in many ways, but so many choose to ignore it...at the very least it makes the car more fun and responsive in normal driving which is what people do 99% of the time.

Plus, even though the GT350 is more of a track car, do you think they are going to let a less expensive, lower powered car be quicker than their halo car in a straight line? Not sure how they are gonna work that...

With that said, the biggest thing is no matter what they do the handling won't even come close, even with this new "PP2" package. As the regular GT350 is pretty much on an equal plateau when compared to an SS 1LE (when an SS 1LE's direct competitor is a GT PP, or forth coming GT PP2, not a GT350). Ford obviously can't make the GT PP2 too close to their halo track car, and unless the GT PP2 at LEAST matched a GT350 (which Ford can't do unless they want lots of pissed GT350 customers lol), it won't compete with a SS 1LE, it may just put it on the same level as a regular SS...

But, the bottom line is just LOOK at that thing, it's hideous. Whomever at Ford okayed this refresh should be fired lol...
What the coyote lacks in torque, it makes up in gearing. Why do you think the s550 only has one overdrive with its six speed. Throw a 10 speed gearbox into the mix and the torque advantage quickly disappears.

Um, no...

Gearing does not totally make up for a lack of torque. I hope you really don't think this? The torque manipulation due to different ratios is not the same as having an actual engine with more torque. In gear feel (grunt) will still not be there, you will have to downshift more, it won't have as much punch at lower revs, etc, etc...

I see you are a "Mustang Fanboy", but come on now. Not sure if you saw my other posts, but I currently own a '15 GT as well as a '17 SS. I like both cars, but the torque difference in both cars, especially at lower revs is VERY noticeable. Even my wife can tell...gearing does NOT fully make up for the lack of torque, not even close.

The new front end wasn't worth doing. What remains to be seen if any of the performance gap with an SS has been closed.

The Mustang design is going the wrong direction. Camaro will sell more than before.

The "One Ford" bull $h!t grill just doesn't flow correctly. Much less than before. It was OK before.

Not a very cohesive design. I wasn't a big fan of the 2015s but this is a step in the wrong direction.

I thought the 15 was a fine looking car. They basically made it look like a kit car version of itself.

Yuck

Official Ford Pics

Official pics look a lot better thankfully, actually doesn't look half bad.

It's also go a full digital gauge cluster, which is nice.

They don't look any better to me lol...I will be keeping my '15 for sure.

They nose still looks like it has droopy ass syndrome.

I think it looks a little more aggressive now. It looks like it has a scowl. The new design accents it pretty well.
