What else would you expect from FOX news. I have been involved in incidents that occurred in my home town and read about them the next day. It was hard to believe it was the same incident after the press got done with their creative input.

This was a locally reported story that was covered by dozens of news agencies. Has nothing to do with Fox.

As for mph, maybe I can get a copy of the form 4. (arrest sheet) I doubt it, I know nobody at that agency. But I may have someone at work that does. 208 is stupid fast.

Twin Turbo GT500?

200mph + isn't impossible.

Heavily modified and heavily exaggerated... I can see 130mph being an actual speed, unless they provide sufficient evidence of a properly calibrated speed gun and numerous calculations of the alleged speed.

Maybe they could, we will never know as they all tend to end up in the crowd shortly after launch.

the cop was probably reading KPH instead of MPH by mistake which is 129 mph (closer to believable), still, I have hard time believing a mustang can sustain that speed.

Felony eluding... that's gonna hurt!

Kilpatrick is the turnpike that runs north and west of OKC, fairly straight in a few areas, especially the north side, for about an 8 mile stretch. Considering it's a bypass for a major city, they need to make him squeal like a pig. (if you know what I mean)

Wasn't there a guy here that said he knew the driver? Maybe he can shed some light on this.

I'm wondering why this guy is going for top speed records when he should be going for the most kills record while plowing through a crowd.

Both of my 5.0 mustangs would do 150 mph stock. I can't see driving 200+ at night with no lights. I'm calling BS.

And if he really was going even 184, like they supposedly clocked him at first, Smokey likely would have been unable to catch him even with high speed pursuit cars, let alone standard patrol cars. Of course, depending on the source, it sounds like this moron essentially pulled himself over... Hopefully he loses his license and gets jail time.

Ya'll got this all wrong. This is simply the product of Millennial and common core math, some idiot thought kph was a misspelling so they corrected it.

Used to live right there on May Ave., apartments near the mall there, and I figured that miles long stretch had to be where he was.

Regardless of how fast he was actually going, the felony eluding charge is going to hurt, a bunch.
