I've used big box store products on my car and specialty products such as zaino and really couldn't tell the difference, other than zaino wouldn't come off with dawn. But I strip, polish, and buff the car every spring and fall when its cool outside.

nope, and I know I can prove that. If I buy the most expensive, rarest, and best polishes, waxes, and washes for my car available and then just clean it with shit from autozone, my gf wont be able to tell the difference. however, if I gave her a cz ring instead of a diamond, i'd be single.
