stock for stock, trans for trans...not really. ~.5 is a pretty big margin in the 1/4 mile

I ran 12.2@115. I have yet to see one STOCK auto mustang run my average 12.2@115, much less the 11 second runs others have gotten....hell, even a manual

but I'll gladly line up against a stock one to do some field testing

A, as in one, stock, or many like on here? Have any dipped into the 11s like some members on here?

But I will believe that there has been at least ONE to match my time, which was in the middle of May, about 92* and about 90% humidity. What conditions was that run in?

I wont completely retract my last post about it being faster b/c I can promise, most times, the Camaro will gap the mustang in the 1/4

They let me. They probably won't let you, unless you are a serious buyer though. You'll need a parent, too.

Remember the members area is shared between camaro5 and 6. The S197 is faster than the S550, for now. A guy named "pure stock" ran the 12.22 time. All I know is it was at Cecil County in Maryland.

Ah, I was referring to the Gen6 Camaro if that clears up any confusion. I did hear that the older ones were a tick or two faster due to less weight but I also heard that the couple extra ponies offset the weight (from trolling the mustang forums lol)
