Nice touring BMW! Those things are surprisingly nimble and handle well on dirt roads. A buddy of mine let me take his BMW out to Lake Houston one Saturday, it was a blast!

Thanks. It's a 2005 R1200ST. They only made them 05-07. It's 100lbs lighter than the RT with the same motor. The new R1200RS is its spiritual successor. I had sport bikes before and when I wanted something with hard bags, I knew I'd go the sport tourer route. My favorite bike I ever owned was my aprilia RSV-R:

street/drag race bike and my street bike.
Bikes are for racing. Turbo hayabusa has been 7.95 at 186mph. zx10r with a lowering strap on the front at 2800' track elevation and me at 210lbs 10.03 at 146mph. Camaro is for street fun. Raced the truck once.. 12.32 at 111mph. pulls the trailer pretty nice.. lol.
zx10r does not put the front tire down until the 1000'. the turbo busa can pull the front tire up at the 1000' and ride a wheelie across the finish line if the track is prepped well enough.

Cool section I must have missed.

My bike with new adventure tires. I just had Corbin make me a new seat. The one in the picture is by seat concepts.
