Maneuvering your transmission sounds difficult. Pretty heavy chunk of metal

Yeah a bit. It's annoying with window tint now being a primary offense but oh well. Going to try and remove it myself this time so that'll be fun. Gonna use a clothes steamer, been watching YouTube videos this afternoon. Certainly not paying whatever it'll cost to remove it. Just gotta be extremely careful on the rear window...

Yea that rear window will be a PITA. What's the limit in MD?

I'm being serious.
Exactly done in all my manual cars motorcycle. Plus the big rigs. All in the ear of sound matching to the motor.

Not any faster than normal as long as you are still shifting in proper gear sequence. 1-2-3-4-5-6. "Perfect" rev matching will be the least stressful, but realistically perfect rev matching doesn't exist.

If you skip sequence and go from say for example, 1-2-4, you will wear the synchronizers out faster. Same thing about perfect rev matching applies here as well.

So no realistically as long as you maintain proper shift sequence speed shifting will not have any extra wear on the synchronizers.

on a bike you don't really do anything different, just leave the clutch out. I wish cars had wet clutches like bikes do

Motorcycle transmissions don't have neutral between gears like a car transmission does, thus meaning no synchronizers. Motorcycle transmissions use "dog rings" which just require the release of tension, so the method on a motorcycle is accelerating-close throttle(which releases the "dog rings") shift-back to throttle.

While I may not know everything, I know an extensive amount about a lot of things. Feel free to ask
