Good point lol unless its for an engine block coffee table or some other furniture related piece

I prefer that too, unfortunately my painter is busy this time of year because of dealerships buying vehicles.

Could be 2-3 weeks yet before he even begins on repairing the fender, and I can't out anything back in the car until the fender is proper.

In other news the cooling ducts for the brakes from the ZL1 are a joke. I'll post pictures this evening of them and how cheaply made they are. Even the wheel liners where the duct connects to it is super flimsy.

But the wheel liners are better than the SS liners because of the holes being there already, and the ZL1 liners offer protection in the front that the SS bumpers don't. It's going to be fun manipulating the brake ducts to fit around my washer fluid reservoir. Might be a good time for the relocation kit.

I paid $60 for 2 pieces of air deflector that attach to the wheel liner lol.

Also bought $90 worth of hardware(bolts, retainers)

$3.00 per retainer and bolt. That's the GM way.
Dude that's a lot of moolah for some bolts but I don't know if you need to move the washer reservoir for those ducts. For the intake scoop and the Roto Fab big gulp you do though

A guy I talked to about it, who has installed the ducts, said you can get them in there around the reservoir. But you have to be manipulative and forceful.

Sound - yes. ROI performance - no.

Ahh I did not know that. I figured they should just kinda drop on in there with nothing else needed beyond the bumper and fender liners.

I'll look when I get off work this afternoon and see if the ZL1 actually has a different reservoir. I'm curious now.

oh, and got my 'upgraded' radar detector back. Let me rephrase that.. they shipped me a brand new one, with all the accessories. That explains the quick turn around. And wow, I'm impressed.

Well got myself a repair order for my window tint. Guess it'll be back to fish bowl status for a while until I decide to get it redone. Staying legal this time!

well sir, i currently (attempt to) operate a manual vehicle and me being the king of stick shift driving i managed to grind my gears by expertly manuvering the transmission to said gear. my foot said "nah" and refused to fully engage the clutch causing it to slip and "grind the gears". gee willickers man, where did you see the metaphor?? I Certainly Didnt Spot It Anywhere ...

Learn to shift without the clutch and you won't grind gears.

I'm being serious.
