Doesn't seem right that I have to use a Gmail account to get mail from C5. I only have one to use for spammy sites like Craigslist and sites that require one but I don't want to hear from again. Never have trusted Gmail and only use it as a throwaway address. But I guess that is just the IT guy in me thinking.

![]() I always had a Gmail account as a "throwaway" e-mail too, but after using it I find it's super reliable and works well when traveling around with easy web based access on any computer. Give it a shot, you might end up liking it. |

Here is the latest from my ISP re the fix of the PTR records - seems like it's like shooting at a moving target. Maybe the IT folks will take notice???
So, the PTR records for IP 192.184.8.128 are good now! The issue now is that emails seem to be coming from a different IP - 75.126.222.110 - and there is no PTR record for that. 192.184.8.128 was the IP that emails were coming from, and that IP now has PTR records. Maybe there is more than one outgoing email server - but our spam provider keeps blocking emails from your domain based on no PTR record for the IP. Here is some info from the log re this issue. dig -x 75.126.222.110 ; <<>> DiG 9.8.3-P1 <<>> -x 75.126.222.110 ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 48055 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 2, ADDITIONAL: 4 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;110.222.126.75.in-addr.arpa. BTW, found out why one's posting/edit privileges get pulled - this is in addition to the message that you receive that attempts to explain what the possible cause are.
If you change your email address in your Control Panel, it is possible that because of this issue of not receiving emails, you never receive the request to confirm the change. If you don't confirm, the system locks your privileges. |

I'm not getting notifications from this site either. Used to work fine. I'm using a comcast.net address.
I'm not going to go sign up for another email address as a work around. Have you guys figured out what's causing it? I work in IT and telling folks to go get another email address setup is crazy. |

Another solution is go to Quick Links... Subscribed Threads and then set that as your shortcut favorite to C5. |

I don't get them either. SUCKS!! People think i'm ignoring them when in fact I just don't know they've commented on a thread. I love you all and I would never intentionally ignore you.

Yeah, using your JDP domain name you won't get any e-mails. That was my problem too with a personal domain. |
