You can be arrested for shooting one down. I'd throw or sling a baseball at it. I'd like to keep my guns thank you very much.

My son want's a drone so he can take cool video and pix. I told him no, we live in a residential area and that I feel it's an invasion of privacy. If we had a few acres it would be a different story.

I think it's just a matter of time until some idiot uses a drone to hurt a bunch of people. It doesn't take much imagination to see how that could be done. At that point, there will be need to be new laws concerning their use.

Anti-Drone Privacy Enforcement Device... Because it's cheaper than jail time for discharging your firearms within city limits

it's not exactly the same...I put a fence around my back yard so nobody can get in, or see what I have back there. my blinds are typically open on the back of the house because of the privacy my house offers.

What side of the tracks was the drone from?
What color was the drone painted?
What state do you live in?
and so on.....
LMAO.

Well, from it's "b" meaning in the dictionary it can be. Even though I tend to go with you on this one since the military versions can be control from just about anywhere in the world and can be self guiding. Some of the more expensive Civilian models can sort of do this from what I've read. If they loose contact with the operator they will return on their own Via GPS.

I can remember when people called short wheelbase 4x4s (not trucks) Jeeps even if they weren't really a Jeep brand.

They all need a drone flown up their asses. That's what happens when crazy people live too close together.

BIG difference there. Especially if it has a camera on it. If the plane travelled along the roadway path or was sitting on the road itself, it would be incidental and no harm no foul. But nobody has a "right" to fly it over my property, either, unless they want to risk losing it. And if it's a police vehicle, it better be marked as such or it will have holes in it.

Once it enters my air space, it's going to be looked at as trespassing whether anyone is in it or not. And out here in the country, I can shoot guns anywhere on my property without issue. That includes "up". I don't need a right to shoot it down. If there's a multi-bladed helicopter "toy" or whatever hovering over my property, I WILL take it out if I feel the need to protect my property. Because out here, anyone flying one over my property is likely up to no good.

Again- I don't care what any "law" says. Now, you would have to prove it was me that shot it down anyway. How are you going to do that if you're not coming on my property to retrieve it (without trespassing, of course)? Don't worry, it'll be set out by the side of the road with the weekly trash pickup. You can come get it then. "I was shooting at some birds and I thought it was a duck. Sorry about that. My bad eyesight and all."

I understand what you are saying, but I don't believe that You, Me or anyone else owns Air Space above us. That would fall under the US Government Domain and the FAA - I think their Rights go to 19 Miles up

you don't own the airspace.... I fly over people's houses all the time. They can't do anything about it
