Invite some ugly fat people to your house for nude sunbathing. I'm sure the drone will stop taking video.

If the propeller drone is hovering over my property, I'm going to shoot it down. I don't care what any "law" says or who owns it. In my mind it would be an attack drone and I would use the castle doctrine to defend myself and my property from any and all attacks.

So if you wanna keep your friggin' drone, then don't stop and hover over my house on a fly by. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Good point.........how does anyone know the drones intent, especially with it hovering over their house.

Also if the drone malfunctions my family could be injured or killed as it comes crashing to the ground.....

You might want to make sure what you`re shooting at first, some police agencies are now using these types of drones. Pretty sure if they do have them in your area of the state I don`t think the police would be to happy with you if you shot down their drone.

Yeah- a toy quadcopter has you fearing for your life as an "attack drone." It's not a predator, which is a real drone...

However, if you launch your own and hang some light chain from underneath and flow over another drone, the props will suck in the chain and it'll destroy itself. Hilarity ensues. I have a DJI quadcopter with a gopro camera on it, but I try not to annoy other people with it... unlike seemingly EVERYONE else who has one these days.

Just wait until one of these things comes crashing to the ground and injures some little kid.................or worse yet some animal, they will take up their pitchforks and torches.

No shooting my guns, okay probably more dangerous than the drone anyway. How about a Frisbee, softball or maybe I can toss a rock at it? Or is there a law against doing these things to.

No different from someone standing on the street and looking at your house. You don't have a right to shoot it down.

Guess that begs a lot of messed up questions that need to be asked then-
Was the shooter an on duty LEO while shooting at the drone?
Did you feel threatened and have to stand your ground?
Did you see what could have been a gun on the drone but was just a snicker?
What side of the tracks was the drone from?
What color was the drone painted?
What state do you live in?
and so on.....

It could be different. If the drone is viewing your property on the other side of a concealment fence or an area that is kept private from street viewing.
