Didn't you guys just sign Mike Tannenbaum from the Jets? He did a great job for them.

Yeah, not too sure how I feel about that guy. I just hope Dennis Hickey has a large part in picking the draft and FA. I think he did a pretty good job his first year. Lots of good young talent that can develop into very good contributors in the near future.

THAT BEING SAID....

This clearly was a flagrant violation of stated rules, and there does need to be accountability in this situation. Considering this is technically a second offense for cheating, there should be greater fines, loss of more picks, AND Belichek should be suspended. How long, I don't really know, but that suspension should start IMMEDIATELY, as it would for any player.
If the Pats do indeed get implicated by evidence, and say, Well Suh gets cut a break for 32 games since he last stomped on a player,
whatta ya suppose the break should be for the Pats for 7 years of games ,

ya know, Many QB's have come out and say everybody does this or that to the balls, so it's a know fact that it happens, same thing with the video taping.
Maybe the Pats should just stop kicking everybody's A$$, so that the sore f...ing losers, stop crying & running to the league...... naaaaa!!!!

lol, "all" the qb's.

how about just stop cheating. of all teams, the patriots, who are known for knowing all the rules. uses them to their advantage, should know the rules about psi in a football. your qb likes a more deflated football, so deflate it down to the allowed 12.5psi. if he can't handle that, then he shouldn't be playing in the nfl.

Sorry, many.....when there's visual proof that the Pats "deflated" the balls, be sure to get back to me.

It's NASCAR approach to the NFL.

Anyway, it's a non-story to me. The advantage gained is WAY less than wearing those tacky gloves to grip. Just not a big deal.

that's what baffles me the most. you'd think a team that really needs an upper hand would do this kind of thing. not the patriots. So not only are they cheaters, but they are dumb cheaters. lol That goes for spygate as well. just no need to cheat, in their case.

Patriots fan here and all I can say is this playoff run is spoiled for me. Makes me sick. Do I think there was some funny business? Yes. Do I think it affected this game or others? No. Do I think having to hear about this for 2 weeks then forever ruins all of it. Yes.

Best case, A.) they maybe heated balls before submitting to refs to gauge before game (to make psi reading), then the balls came down to preferred air pressure by game time as they cooled or B.) The refs did not actually check them before the game, took Pats word for it.

Neither is a great story BTW.

Worst case, they can show Pats got hands on balls AFTER they came on field and made adjustments then.

All examples are bad.
