but that's my whole point. you can get "a" Terrell Davis in other rounds. you don't need a high first round pick to build a team to win the SB. Unless you need a QB.

I don't care if my reality tv is 100 percent real I actually figure its some where from 10%-90% real with the rest under the "creative License" label to make it more exciting to watch.
Just entertainment? Ask the millions of people that bet legally on the games, if it's just entertainment. lol

and you can thank your boy Tom for the lack of entertainment because of his whining that he's getting touched...in the NFL...

What evidence do you have to support this "purported" accusation? You really think this preposterous allegation has an impact on the game? Did you not watch the game against the Colts? In case you didn't watch the game, it was a systematic clinic on dominating a football team....Which Seattle has yet to do to a playoff team this year. The Panthers?

Ha! Integrity in football? That died a long time ago.

I didn't even run the full numbers for 2001 since at least 4 games were close enough to be effected, and the divisional race was so close that they would have been at the bottom of the division that year.

Yep...it's ASTERISK time.

edit: It's early and for some reason I was getting the back to back years for the patriots mixed up in my memory. If you look at 2003 though, 6 games would have been affected. I'll do the full research on this later and post data on what their prospective record would have been. Looks like at least 2 Super Bowls at this point are now * games that might not have happened if not for them deflating balls to gain an advantage.

Classy, Patriots!!
I hope you present your evidence to the NFL

Asterisks are stupid. The whole asterisk controversy made MLB look like a bunch of idiots, and I hope we don't see any asterisks in the NFL. I doubt the Patriots experienced ANY sort of benefits from the under-inflated balls, and any talk of taking them out of the Super Bowl, or replaying a game against the Colts, etc. is absurd. This is spoken as a 100% honest to god Patriot-hater.

THAT BEING SAID....

This clearly was a flagrant violation of stated rules, and there does need to be accountability in this situation. Considering this is technically a second offense for cheating, there should be greater fines, loss of more picks, AND Belichek should be suspended. How long, I don't really know, but that suspension should start IMMEDIATELY, as it would for any player.

I agree, the deflated balls wouldn't have made a big difference in the game, but rules are rules.

I did want Miami to suck for Luck. I think that was the only season I wanted Miami to lose. Because luck is a very rare bread. he was a for sure thing. not too sad about tannehill though. I think he will be good for Miami for a long while.

Yeah it just would have been nice for that decade or so to be a little better before Tannehill showed up...
