Supposedly a Hellcat ran a 9.70 @ 137 MPH against a GTR within the last two days.

The Hellcat had "stuff done to it". The GTR owner is claiming the Hellcat had a tune (which isn't possible right now apparently) and the owner had lightened it and "tweaked the suspension".

Story is developing...

Update:

Evidently there were several other Challengers there. It's possible this was not a Hellcat but a very modified, non Hellcat Challenger.

Jesus, that 60' is crazy. Especially when you consider how much better it is than the GT-R's which is the KING of 60' times.

Sounds like well built SRT Challenger. Will be exciting to see what the R/T scatpacks do with the 8-speed once the ECU in unlocked.

This car is hanging with very serious car. Most impressive one was the Cobalt and the bolton L99 Camaro on a 150 shot!

Cant wait to see what is going to happen with a pulley/tuned Hellcat!!
