The most powerful F1 engines were the turbo 4s of the 80s. Something to think about.

The last muscle car was built in 1972 and they had big blocks, so basically they are all fake now.

Scoff if you like, but the owner of a GT will give your new SS no more mind than the V6 you traded for it just two weeks ago. You present no threat at all.

Actually, 1970 was the last year because all the 71 and 72 big blocks were low compression, low horsepower turds that should not be associated with muscle...

I don't think they'll stop selling them that soon, but the fact that Ford gave their halo car a TTV6 says volumes about the direction they want to go in.

If I live that long, I wonder what this conversation will hold for us in 30 years.

If you want to act smart and start talking about big blocks and real muscle cars then I take back my comment and would like to leave you with just this.

Muscle cars died in 1910 with the 28.5L yes 28.5L Fiat S76
skip to 1:50 to see how your big blocks are put to shame by a real muscle car

Yes it is very impressive, especially given it only has 4 cylinders and the are all in a straight line.

Nope, just 4. That car made a lot of news when it was rebuilt.
