That's the importance of cars like the Corvette and Camaro. They bring traffic into showrooms. A guy who normally wouldn't think of buying a Chevy notices a Camaro in a showroom and stops to look at it, then pokes his head into a Malibu and realizes that it's a hell of a lot better than the camry he's driving now. That's how you change perception.
