Medisin is talking about me ignoring facts LOL I have said many times that we will need to wait for the real world numbers, but I do think that the Hellcats will be as fast in a straight line as posted. They will do well around the track, close to the GT500 and ZL1 do I think that it will beat them, I really don't care as I the 1/4 mile is more my thing.

Cars did run a 11.4 Medisin has said why he will not count it, not sure what mag ran the 11.7 and said that with some more time they felt they could hit the 11.2 but it was in their write up will look for it.

I have read all the Mags articles on the Hellcats and I do not recall one real bad review of the car, but Medisin would like everyone to believe that evey mag has.

Correction: CAR, one-only. Automatic-only, pre-production mule. And it's cars.com not Cars, in case you try that excuse, since you're mighty good at picking the fly-stuff out of pepper.

Sorry I guess I should have said Cars.com but put cars because I thought everyone that was reading the posts would know what I was talking about.

IF you had read my post 2517 2 pages back I outlined the Cars.com run for the 11.4 but I guess you just read what you want and skip over the rest.

Rocket, you're head is swelling if you think your "audience" hangs on your every word. Unlike many, you know I've followed this inane, endless thread from the beginning, just to keep abreast of this FCA on-line marketing exercise. Only here do we find 100 pages (plus the Charger thread). Are you that concerned with the number of Camaro fans who REALLY must know all the minutiae regarding the Hellcat(s), or is this simply your way of endlessly contributing the same old stuff, page-after-page, for further indoctrination purposes? Is there actually, at this point, anything NEW to be contributed?

Posts in general but you know that, and I did say it was an Auto Mule.

Anything New to add not right now but give it some time.

Conveniently you ignore the fact that the Hellcat is SLOWER than the GT500 in 3/4 tests and SLOWER than the ZL1 in 1/4.

Car&Driver:
Hellokitty: 0-60, 3.6sec; 1/4mile 11.7 @ 126mph; 4488lbs automatic
---GT500: 0-60, 3.5sec; 1/4mile 11.8 @ 125mph; 3891lbs
------ZL1: 0-60, 4.1sec; 1/4mile 12.3 @ 119mph; 4120lbs

MotorTrend:
---GT500: 0-60, 3.8sec; 1/4mile 11.6 @ 125.7mph; 3871lbs
Hellokitty: 0-60, 3.7sec; 1/4mile 11.7 @ 125.4mph; 4449lbs automatic
------ZL1: 0-60, 3.9sec, 1/4mile 12.2 @ 116.6mph; 4051lbs

Edmunds:
---GT500: 0-60, 3.9sec, 1/4mile 12.1 @ 120.6mph; 3870lbs
-----ZL1: 0-60, 4.1sec, 1/4mile 12.4 @ 116.0mph
Hellokitty: 0-60, 4.8sec; 1/4mile 12.5 @ 118.8mph; 4454lbs

Road&Track:
---GT500: 0-60, 3.5sec, 1/4mile 11.7 @ 128.1mph
Hellokitty: 0-60, 3.9sec, 1/4mile 12.0 @ 124.8mph
------ZL1: 0-60, 3.9sec, 1/4mile 12.1 @ 119.9mph

Yet ramble on about ONE time at a drag strip where someone ran 11.4. Camaro5 and SVTperformance are littered with time slips in the mid and low 11's for stock ZL1's and GT500's. The Dodge has yet to show it's faster in a straight-line or around a track vs the Chevrolet/Ford offerings that have been around FOR YEARS.

You not caring doesn't it make it less relevant. Please describe for us how "well" the Hellcat will do vs the GT500 and ZL1?

MEDISIN never said it doesn't count. Nice try. I said (1) we have nothing to compare that to as Cars.com has conveniently never tested a ZL1 or GT500. (2) there are many, many timeslips from drag strips posted all over Camaro5 and SVTperformance with mid-low 11's with stock cars. What's your point?

So because there are no BAD reviews, the car by default must be SUPERIOR GRADE A++? I wish it were so simple. Read these quotes below from people that have driven the car. This is disappointing considering how much time and money they invested in bringing this car to market.

The long, wide coupe still has a lot of body to be piloted from corner to corner on the really tight sections of the road, but the truth is that it responded with neutrality and quickness at a moderate pace. "Nimble" wasn't the word that sprung to mind after turning more than 100 miles on public streets, but "confident" would be a fair one...Even with plenty of grip available most of the time, there's so much weight constantly desirous of changing direction that hustling the Dodge in the twisty bits left me either too slow or out of sorts upon exit. The steering is quick enough, but numb, which didn't help speed me up, either.
-Autoblog

The car leans heavily as we enter turns, but it's not sloppy...But yeah, man, it drives like a muscle car. It's heavy and it swings through corners with the leading edge of the bulging hood leaning low. Forget delicate work: That would be like whittling with a pole axe.
-Automobile Magazine

While the Camaro behaves like a sports car, the Challenger pretends to be nothing else than a straight-line dragster, and when you toss a corner its way it can be a handful. As associate editor Scott Evans put it, the Hellcat handles "just like a Challenger. Understeer into the corner, oversteer out."
-MotorTrend

The Challenger gets a lot of grief for its weight, and at 4,449 pounds, the 2015 Challenger is a heavy car. You can feel this while driving, it’s a pleasant thing on the highway, giving the car a solid, smooth ride, even in the firmest “Track” mode setting of the three-way adjustable suspension. In corners, the heft of the car is noticeable, especially if you’re used to a lighter machine

Listen print out a card with all the review quotes which you listed. Tape it to your driver side visor, this way when the Hellcat beats you in any of the following forums: 0-60, 1/8, 1,4, ½ mile, 1-mile, top end, roll race, and street light to street light, you can read it to yourself and feel better about the complete embarrassment you just experienced.

You mean IF I see a Hellcat on the street, and IF we put the traffic laws, driver and pedestrian safety aside and IF the Hellcat is an automatic and IF it gets traction and IF there are no turns involved...it will out accelerate me!? Cool story. Meanwhile I'm stuck driving around in a 600HP luxury sedan with a world class chassis and exceptional handling year after year. If only I had a Dodge...
