Richard, attached is a picture of my 57 corvette with my grandson Jace. The picture quality is not real great but it was all I have available on a computer. Do you think any of your friends would be willing to sell their car?? I would really like to find a 70 to 73 camaro survivor, but a restored one is never out of the question. Also, keep all the snow up there with you.

Normagene, I love the pumpkin picture with empty boze and the spew !!
Also, the chain saw stick reminds me of all the haunted houses we use to make in the Jaycee's (under 35 year old's - civic organization).

Skip, congrats on the retiring. I believe the day is not complete unless I have thought about what I am going to do tomorrow before I end today. One "MUST" have/find a reason to get out of bed.

Rick, 81 degress, really !!

Eventually, I think we got 25 or 30 trick-or-treaters, which seems to be about average. What we didn't get was any really early or late visitors like we have in other recent years. The two most memorable represented extremes in age, one a really well done 'Duck Dynasty' character and the other a little dancer barely big enough to take the single step up onto our front porch all by herself.

John : I love the picture of the corvette , how long have you had it ? I will try and keep the snow here in Ontario , we woke up to 1 inch of snow. The sun appeared for awhile to melt some of it, but it's trying to snow again. We put the blower on the tractor , filled it up with diesel fuel and put it back in the garage. tonight I will check all the fluids on it so it's ready to go . I will get the block heater cord out and hang it from the rafters . We put it on a timer as it does not need to be running 24 hrs

I made it to the exercise class but there was not much to it. It was Pilates & no challenge for me. Might have been good for my back but not much else. I will not be renewing my gym membership. Nothing there for me. But I got to find me a class! I am getting fatter by the days, having to take more BP meds & still feeling borderline depressed.

Great Vette John!

Yes. But tonight it is breezy and in the 70's. We will be cooling off this week.

Great Vette John!
Hope you feel better soon Jan.

Had to run some errands today before going to Pavilions. It ended up being a huge cruise night as the lot was full and cars circling for empty spaces. I took a few pics, but I'm too tired to post them tonight. Here is a cell phone photo.

Good grief! It was about 26 degrees here when I woke up.........not wind chill.........actual degrees! What happened to last week's 80 degrees? Supposed to be back in the 70's by mid-week. Once again, if you don't like the weather, stick around. It will change!

Having my coffee now. Then I need to get color my hair before heading out to a cook out at Mike's parent's house & to visit my dad. Have a great Sunday everyone!

I might just have to try this one out if I get pulled over!

Yesterday's weather was miserable. Mid 30's with rain/wet snow flurries. Today is better still cold temps near 40 for the high but at least it's sunny. I am going to bundle up and go out to clean up leaves again. About 3/4 of the trees are bare now so I should only have one or two clean ups left.

Didn't take many photos last night. Here is the link.

We're going to have a run of sunshine and 70* temps during the first part of the week. Later in the week, we'll be up into the 80's.

Richard, I have personally owned the 57 corvette for 4 years. However, it has been in my family since the mid 1970's. My dad owned the car prior to me. He is 84 now and started to "lighten his load" a few years ago. I have 2 brothers, and therefore had to purchase their 1/3 ownership in the car.

Rick, the pictures looked good. I really like the 2nd gen camaro and the 57 wagon. You guys have really different light poles that are always in the backround of your pictures. We do not have that style in Illinois.

Got the stairs built in the car shed today. Now I can call the heating and air conditioning man and get him upstairs to get the furance hooked up. It is going to get below 32 degrees in the building before I know it. Broken/frozen water pipes are not any fun !!

Hope everone had a great/safe weekend.

John

John I am glad you were able to keep your dad's corvette , 2 yrs ago I got up the nerve to tract mine down and was looking to buy it back . However the ministry of transport would not accept my $ 20.00 to get the last owners info as it was at a salvage yard . I think the lady there felt sorry for me cause I told her my corvette was my first new car , she said take the papers and walk out please . That's where my search ended and it was one of the reasons I did not look sooner for it I had a bad feeling about it . I plan on keeping mine as long as I can

Stuffed & miserable again after the cookout at the in-laws'. it is getting sad t visit with my dad. He is so out of it. He stood in his bathroom repeatedly opening & closing an empty drawer, walked over to his TV looking behind it a long time & starting to fiddle with the cable connection, picked up his electric razor & moved it about in his hands like he did not know what to di with it, wandered around his room picking up & moving around various things aimlessly & trying unsuccessfully to put together sentences that made sense. I'm getting worried that he is taking a nosedive as we were warned he would by the first Alzheimer's Dr we took him to.
