A) You can expect to spend your life in terror, not knowing what to do with a keyring or if your engine ever shuts off.

B) Or drive your car and enjoy.

I think Option A best suits your needs.

A better form of transportation for OP if he's that worried...

Unfortunately they can be prone to colic...

One of the main reasons people bought cars and sold their horses was safety. Lots of people, including very prominent people were seriously injured or killed by horses up through 1910.

If you worry constantly about stuff like this, then you would never buy anything ever. Toyota just had a huge air bag recall the other day (7,000,000 cars worldwide), how come nobody is talking about that?

People just make threads like this to stir up controversy. It makes them happy. If the OP has already made 5 threads about this, then he needs to be shown the door because he is not here to be a contributing member, only a pain in the ass.

GM has and will always perform recalls when one is issued for one of their vehicles. I have a 2006 Pontiac G6, owned it since brand new. It is well out of warranty (by like 5 years, even if I didn't mod it away) and if I didn't already have the recalled issues fixed the first time around. I could have gotten them done when they just re-issued them a few months ago (we didn't have issues with the ignition, small power steering issue).

GM has recently shown itself being very proactive in getting recalls out in response to this fiasco, whether that is good or not for GM only time will tell but as a customer you should be happy they're fixing it. I've gotten 2 reissued to me about the G6 that were already fixed years ago via recalls (as stated above), they just reissued them to make sure they are taken care of.

Legal Responsibility is another thing though, paraphrasing, it is the law that once a company goes through bankruptcy they basically become a new company and relinquish some of their legal liability to the old (aka why you go through bankruptcy to get away with debt). In some retrospect it makes some sense as the senior management that is in charge now was not there back when these issues came to light and were ignored (which is the real problem).

Faulty saddle bags are a BIATCH! They just never deploy right in a head on.

Not to mention the driver's airbag is just the back of the horse's head... that soft flowy mane is deceiving.

Is that a Mustang? I think he may already sell those for a living which is why he's here bashing GM.
