Sooo...What can we expect from GM?

Barra stated to Congress and the world that GM would do right by the victims and customers. Now, after lying in court by a GM exec, they are trying to use bankruptcy laws to avoid responsibility. (News from 6/11) Since Camaros, not counting convertibles, as of yet, have not been very troublesome, what can we expect in the future if problems pop up?

It would be like saturn saab or pontiac. People will still work on your car and parts will still be made for them. Although, pontiac and saab parts are become harder to source for the older vehicles.

Parts for Solstices are already hard to find, and have been almost since the end of production. Not really talking about parts. Was referring to serious safety problems in the future if they show up. How honest is the "new GM"? don't know

Amen. If you're that worried sell your GM car and get something else.

Worrying about what "MIGHT" happen insinuates worrying about things that HAVEN'T happened. Thus, it has no bearing on me at this current point in time, therefore, I don't care. Once it becomes an issue for me, I may reevaluate depending on the degree to which it affects me, but not wasting my time until then. At that point, I certainly wouldn't be creating a bunch of baiting threads on an enthusiasts site to try and generate drama or whatever your motive is.

or in a nutshell... no.

Is there a Prozac shortage on C5? Damn, the guy is only asking a question and making conversation. No need for stupid jokes and acting annoyed. Don't post if the question does not interest you.

I think they are just pointing out ALL FIVE of the threads he has started since joining have been about recall issues at GM.

The majority of his posts have basically been jabs at GM, and raising ridiculous questions such as this. Its getting old.

To the OP...so your basically asking "what if something comes up with our cars down the road that we don't know about right now". Well..the simple answer is....we don't know.

Is GM the root of all evil as you seem to think? I don't think so.

If you read Barra's entire address, you'd see where she said more recalls will be coming....so expect them (they have been coming fast and often lately...much to the media delight) but I look at it as a potential good thing. I want the best possibly quality, but I also like knowing that the company I bought from will step up and fix an issue early if one is found, and hopefully thats the GM we know now.
