Yea but not the 1/4mile went on a road course. The 1/4mile is already closed for tomorrow and won't be open for another 2 weeks.

How did you do on the road course? Did the coil overs make a noticeable difference?

It was fun they don't time our laps, our club all goes out at the same time and just run it. Was pretty crowded today since it's opening day so lots of other cars there too. My car is stiffer now I gotta bump down the settings on my sway bars and it should be good.

nice! any way to bump the boost up, or are there issues with fuel delivery? i'm not too familiar with the limitations on FI and the v6.

Thanks! and for sure. Just have to use the HP tuners tune, unless i can dyno tune my IPF tune. I like my IPF tune but if i can get a tune custom to my car....dyno tune wins, simple.

No fueling issues because the #'s of boost im running now is 6, so conservative enough where i dont have those issues.

Gretchen knows a lot more, since he's using Hp...and using it well

Hello, relatively new to C5 & just noticed this thread. Upgrading bumper on my bee since someone nailed my front end as I sat at a red light. (Did I mention there was only 1600 miles on it?) Three more long weeks before work is done....then lots of pics will follow.

SS. I see that a lot of the enthusiasts here prefer the ZL1 bumper, but the rectangular cutouts around the foglights just don't do it for me. Plus, it involves purchasing too many extra parts that will never be visible.

The mailslot is aggressive enough for my simple tastes.

What do you mean by too many extra parts?

The body shop explained that the bulk of the expense lies in the parts BEHIND the ZL1 bumper that are necessary for the conversion. (Impact bar, etc.)
Supposedly it's more complicated to do this on a V6.

And no, I have not lost my marbles. (To the person who, unlike Jewel, passed judgement without at least seeking clarification).

I was under the impression that this was a site for people with a common interest to share ideas, but apparently it's a site to get flamed for your choices. Don't need the drama.

Pretty sure there are no changes to the support bar and the shop doesn't know what they are talking about. Tons of people have done this mod in their own garage, highly doubt all of them had to cut up the crash bar.
