I heard the Fusion has more roomy interior then the SHO, but I'd say the Chevy SS is the best on the short list you provided unless you can afford the Model S you mentioned you test drove.
Are you an American only car buyer because I think there are better options out there for the $50,000 the SS would cost you after tax and license fees.

If I decide on the Model S that would be a year or so out in order to have a ton of saving. Also I test drove the new Fusion when it came out. While nice, I didn't care for the center stack...holy jebus talk about a LOT of buttons.

Too funny, because I have been doing some "internet shopping"the last couple of months looking to possibly replace my daily driver truck a well. (If I do, it won't be till early summer.)
If snow and winter weather isn't a problem for you, I would go Chevy SS all day long. Other than that, the SHO is ballsy. I am very interested towards the 2014 awd SHO and have been doing research on it. It's a really nice car. Looks great inside and out and moves out pretty good for a V6.

We do get a fair bit of snow but I think the SS would be able to handle it just fine. Our streets are very well maintained.

The awd SHO with the performance pack is the way I would go. I don't need the navigation and moonroof and other "driver assist" stuff. I'd rather spend my money on performance mods than those items. ![]() Good luck and let us know what you decide. |

First, I'm not sure you can get an LTZ and the ECO powertrain. There is an LS ECO and an LT ECO. 1LTZ comes with the 2.5L Ecotec and 2LTZ has the 3.6L V6.
2nd, I wouldn't get anything with the old 2.4L 4 banger. ECO powertrain or not. 3rd, SS is RWD only and check the tires, they may be summer only. If they are you'll need to change them every winter.

I've got a ZL1 and have a SS in transit somewhere between the U.S. and AU. The fit and finish is awesome, and like the ZL1 just about everything is standard. The only options are a sunroof and full size spare. The car handles like a Camaro SS with a little softer ride and performance just as good.

None of the above. Dodge charger hands down. You can get it with 3 different motor choice's and with awd. Its drives and feels like a muscle car but it has 4 doors. The days of dodge building unreliable cars with ugly interiors are long long gone.

The SRT Charger is awesome. Dodge needs to offer that in awd.

I know it's not on the list, but what about an explorer sport? Has the ecoboost, AWD, and more room than the sho.

I really like the styling of the Buick Regal GS and they just started offering it in all wheel drive in 2014. Only offer a 2.0 turbo but probably ok fuel mile with a tad of performance. No on the SS if only Rwd, SHO looks nice and would be my choice of your finalists.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Chrysler 300S?
I test drove a charger SXT Plus over the weekend and like the way it drove (And really liked the fuel efficiency) but didn't like the available options on the car. The 300 is essentially the same and the S model allows you to get a nice red leather interior and go all out on options for basically the same price as an LTZ Impala and way less than the SHO and SS
