If you already have a ZL1 it makes more sense to go with something economical.

You'd have one car that goes really fast and one car that gets good mileage, as opposed to having one car that goes really fast and one car that goes fast.

This is what I was thinking. However I did try to be as non influential as possible. After all he's the one who's going to be driving it not any of us. Which is why I presented a few pros and cons.

I've honestly never even noticed the wood trim on the steering wheel in LTZs.

You say that now, try driving with it. I test drove with it and i absolutely hated it.

totally throws off the feel of the wheel as you let it turn through your hand.

Also; test drove a Tesla Model S today...holy F*ck

Was it a P85+ with 21" Michelin Pilot Sports or a lesser model?

I wish they make a Model S but with another electric motor up front so it would have 850hp and AWD..... It would be a Modern Day Rocket Ship considering the current one runs to 60mph in 3.9 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 12.3 on its heavy optional 21" rims instead of its lighter weight standard 17's.

It was the 85 with the 21's. It wasn't the performance model but holy shit was it a lot of fun to drive.

I've driven an E-class with the wood on the steering wheel and it was fine for me.

I have driven it too and I don't like it any better. The Impala suffers because of the placement and the fact that it's not flush. It's kinda raised up a little bit and ruins the flow of the wheel.

to mLee a cruze would be nice but it's not big enough on the inside for me.

I live in the foot hills where it snows so AWD was a must for my family sedan. Does AWD matter to you in PA?

Not terribly. The AWD of the SHO is just a bonus.
