So a 19 year old is considered a kid these days?

Is there a reason behind this? At 19 I was working as an EMT and in the process of buying a house. I don't know about you, but I've done a lot more as a "kid" than most men have done in there lives. As a "kid" I've had to perform CPR on a 4 year old, I've had to watch tiny premature NICU babies waste away just because there mom couldn't stop doing drugs, and that's just two of many many many instances in what was a very very long year. It's been four long years and I am now happily married, a homeowner, and own three vehicles. So, before you go throwing labels out there, just remember that someday when you're in need that "kid" might be your only hope

Like most people now a days you are taking that to literally. When you get to be old enough you'll view 19 year olds as kids too. Sorry, I guess I should have said young man for you kids that get your feeling hurt easily. It's not meant to degrade someone. I wish I was 19 again.

Maybe you outgrow being a kid when it stops bothering you to be called one.

I don't have a problem with people saying I'm a kid, sometimes if I'm talking about a person that's like 5 years older then me I'll still refer to them as a kid

Is there a reason to half the threads started on the forum? No. is there a reason you have to tell us that you were a paramedic? No. You don't need to try to prove that your better then everyone else...

Looks like your the immature one starting to get all sarcastic and defensive for what reason exactly?

You are doing the exact same thing I did when I was your age. Mine was a 1987 IROC-Z. Just be careful out there and have fun! Don't forget to put a little money away for a house someday.....with a big garage for more toys!
