There is a 19 year old that runs a 410 winged sprint car at our local track. He won his first feature this year. Point being is that kids can handle high power, but it's best to keep it on the track.

A great man once said, "Its not how you stand by your car, its how your race your car, you better learn that."

It's great to be the fastest until you get hit with your first street racing ticket. I'd leave the car almost stock, take that 5k, add 5k get a crotch rocket and watch the tail line up.

No matter how fast your car is, it can't touch a sexy R1. 10 second machine straight out of the dealership.

Congrats! But be careful on the street or it won't end well...

Give me another year or two I hopefully will be there with you. Gotta a couple more years in the scaffold yard before I get my maggie. But I'm pushing close to 450 rwhp so I don't think that's too bad.

I built a 10sec S-10 in high school. My dad was smart and would haul it to the track for me. He never registered or insured it and it never left the garage until I was 18, unless we were heading to the track. I still have it and enjoy it over 10 years later.

I like the R1 idea, since I can't do much with my car, I have a budget set aside for buying a GSXR 600, then working my way up! I'm 17 as well by the way. Have fun with that beast, but never push your own limits

For sure won't be using all that power unless I'm on a track tho.
Anybody else under 20 have F/I?

P.S I'm sure not everyone will agree with what I'm doing being that I'm so young but I didn't post this for you to bash on me and tell me I'm not responsible and everything else that you say about us younger people so keep those comments to yourself . And yes I'm paying for this with my money that I worked for, or sold my "toys" for (quads and dirtbikes).
And I wasn't sure what section to post this under so if it's in the wrong one can you move it for me
I hate to tell ya man but you'll soon learn there is always someone stronger, faster, richer, better looking etc....be happy with what ya got cause the minute you think you've got the best you see someone with something better....FYI I'm 30

Installed my supercharger before my 20th birthday. Love the added power and knowing I installed it myself.

When I was three...I thought I had the meanest Big Wheel on the block. Kid down the street blew me away. When I was thirteen thought I had the baddest Kawasaki in the neighborhood. Got my ass kicked. When I was 60 years old teenager posts and tells me if I don't agree with his writing I should keep my mouth shut and mind my own business. Asks if he is in the right forum? Do we have an immature snot-nosed section. seems it would be more appropriate.
