no, mostly the big three Asian, Toyota, Honda, Nissan. I have owned VW, but don't like them. sports/muscle/pony car is the one catagory (aside from trucks) that I think the domestics clearly build a better product. I would definitely buy a vett over anything import (sports car wise), and if I were looking for a truck I just don't see how you could consider anything other than the F-series.

I appreciate every brand. I think what annoys me most is the whole little "I buy GM only....blah blah blah" or "i won't buy those asian cars....derp *insert uneducated comment*"

besides a camaro or corvette, what does chevy really have? Malibu- test drove two seemed cheap with very loud road noise. Spark, Taser light switch???? I'm kidding but it's not a GM thing it's a Camaro thing. I always loved Challengers, Chargers and yes even rustangs!

this.

i like cars in general. every brand has something to offer. i enjoy the Camaro/Mustang rivalry...its fun. but i do really like the look and performance of those new 5.0's. Honda has that new NSX coming out soon, Toyota had some nice trucks, Nissan got that 370Z and some nice trucks, i could go on and on.

if you're brand loyal, thats cool. but it can, at times make some people ignorant to what other brands have to offer. just my .02

I buy American products with historical lineage based in America, that keeps most profits here.

How is it uneducated? I have researched and test driven the competition each time I look for a car but always come back to GM. GM has not treated me wrong in the 3 cars I've bought under it's brand and I really love the cars they make, it's my money why do I have to buy something I don't want?

I may be a GM snob but I certainly know other car brands and would buy something else if I liked it enough. IMO it sounds uneducated to assume ALL people just buy a car because they see a logo, people have different needs, tastes, etc... if GM suits all their needs/wants in a vehicle, why not buy only GMs?

I have not hated any brand of car....however, my father and most of my uncles were Chevy guys...and gear heads too.
Our neighbor when I was a teenager owned a repair garage and was a former service manager for a chevy dealership in NY.
He HATED Chrysler! Anytime anyone in his family including him heard a car having problems starting, they would laugh and say "Chrysler Disease".
This was back in teh 1970s.
Although, I hated Camaros and Firebirds from the late 70's, i.e. the Disco Era, I really loved the Camaros and Firebirds from the 60s.
When the 90s rolled along we were just bored with the looks of Camaros and Firebirds, but did not hate them.
I never saw myself as a Camaro owner, and in fact was going to buy an SRT8 Dodge Challenger...However, one drive in a 2014 Camaro RS/2SS/1LE was all it took to get me hooked!
In retrospec, I wish I had any of those 70's trans ams or Z28's now!

Couldn't agree more. In reality, the only America cars I'd ever buy are the Camaro, Corvette and Grand Cherokee. Everything else..nope!

So what is your opinion on GM products now?

Now, I am very loyal to Chevrolet (GM). I would maybe by a Ford or a Dodge in an emergency. I would never buy a foreign car. Flame on I can handle it.

I wasn't a fan of GM before, but it seems like they got their act together after the bailout so that has certainly changed my opinion of them. Still don't like their heavy duty trucks though, Ford is a better option in that category.
