Both BBK and OBX SS pieces are made from Type 304 SS, which has decent corrosion resistance.
So is the same quality? Then the only difference is BBK came with cats?

They are similar quality metal but not the same exact design and not the same quality product hence the difference in price. I believe the area around the flange is a little different and then the area where the off road extensions or cats is a little different. Both will provide relatively the same amount of gains in the performance aspect. I haven't heard the Obx in person so I can't answer if they sound any different but usually most LTs sound about the same.

I don't know enough about the quality of BBK vs OBX, because that has to do with more than just the type of SS. Things like material thickness, weld quality, fitment, etc... So I really can't comment as to which is of better quality or what other differences there may be. I'm not considering long tubes ever, so I just haven't looked closely at them.

My opinion is that I love my ceramic BBK's...they do cost 300$ more but at the same time I got them for 600$ shipped not bad.

I know it's a big debate with the V8 crowd concerning the OBX headers but I wonder how good their fitment (OBX's headers are)...seems like they're pretty good with as many people that have them on their V6 here..take your pick Monchy, I think you'll like either.

O I'm sure I'll run into problems taking the stock out and putting in the LSR.

If I can pull my stock one out in a couple of minutes you'll be fine...getting the new one that's thicker is the fun part (self five)
