GM sold over 1800 GXPs in a matter of a month or two when they came over. I dont think GM will have an issue selling 415 SS's a month.

I think 1k a month would be a reasonable estimate. This thing obviously isn't going to sell in Camaro numbers. Especially since supply will be limited by a forever long shipment time.

There is a problem though. When the G8 GXP came out it was something special. Come to 2013, 5 years later, the SS is still running the same drivetrain, same brakes, etc, etc, has lost it's manual, and has a much higher price. The coopetition has moved onward and upward, that is the problem with the SS. It will struggle to sell that, at least after the first couple months.
