I actually have my modem in a room in a bedroom with the xbox in the living room. I used that 100ft of cat5 and was able to run it along side the wall and put it underneath the carpet where it meets the wall. almost cant tell its there

I would have to see if I can pull the carpet up.

thanks jewel. so yeah, in that floorplan, the master bedroom that the internet connection is, is the room on the far left. and the tv is against the fireplace wall, close to the patio wall. and the internet connection for the living room is on the wall sharing the second bedroom.

could always go through the ceiling...had to have my dad's setup that way along with his speaker system. But that wasnt hard since he had an attic. No idea if you guys have a basement or an attic. or maybe both

I think the area marked in red is doable for a wired connection IF you wanna go that route. Otherwise it would be be the repeater

The problem with the red is that the tv would block the hallway.

From the master bedroom to that Living room tv there is too many doors and open areas to make it completely invisible. Only thing i can think of is MAYBE going around the doorframe

My apolologies, what i meant is have the modem start there. Could maybe put a shelf on the wall to make it more appealing?
