Your poll should have an option for both.

Gotta have my tunes, so much so that when I have to drive my truck with no XM, CD, USB, Pandora, it really really sucks

I did a good bit of both when I first got the car, but now that I have an aftermarket exhaust I almost always drive with the radio off

This should have a 3rd option for both.

I am also a musician, and obviously into cars. Until recently, this wasn't much of an issue for me. The exhaust on my truck was boring, stock, and very badly in need of replacement. I got used to driving it like that, and even though I had crappy speakers, I always blasted the good ol' rock n roll while I drove. But just last week, I replaced the exhaust on my truck. We cut the old crap off, and ended up having to order a piece to finish the job. So it sat there for a few days. While I waited for the part, I put a new sound system in it, which sounds amazing. Kenwoods all around with a 10" kenwood sub. But then the part came, and we finished putting on the flowmaster exhaust. Now I don't know which one I want to listen to more!! It sounds so sexy when I take off that ive been turning the music down, then back up when I get to whatever speed im traveling at lol. I guess ill have to wait till im used to the exhaust to figure out which ill be listening to more. But when I had put the new exhaust on my Camaro, Im pretty sure I listened to both!

I'm 50/50 but if I had to choose I'd go with my engine.

I love my music, and for long drives on the highway that's my preference, but nothing beats motor and exhaust noise!

both, sometimes I turn off the radio and just drive like I stole it just to hear the roar. BUT i dropped a fair amount of cash to upgrade the stereo system, nothing like a little AIC at higher volumes

Both for me, I love the windows down and radio up, but also love the sound of the engine.

I honestly can go either way. Sometimes I listen to the radio, but I love the roar of my V8! Roll the windows down and just listen!

Two sided question for me... cruising around town, I keep the windows down, and the radio off... but on the expressway in my hour long drive to work... tunes.
