Looks like the PDF was slightly off from the official final figures.

GM has just released official published final HP/TQ figures of 460 hp / 465 lb-ft.

See full details @ http://www.corvette7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298244

Nice. The old switcheroo. More HP is always good.

455 HP/460 lb ft torque is the standard power output. 460/465 is with the performance exhaust.

I think I just heard the C6 prices fall again....LOL

If the prices on the C6 keep falling, I might have to buy one. I wouldn't mind having a base 1LT auto C6 to play with.

Advanced oiling system with oil-spray piston cooling and available dry-sump oiling
Engine option??

Engine-mounted, camshaft-driven fuel pump to support the direct injection system
Sounds like fun for tuners lol

Intake manifold with “runners in a box” design that allows for high-efficiency airflow packaged beneath the Corvette’s low hood line
????
High-flow, four-into-one exhaust manifolds based on the design of the LS7 engine

these are interesting features

That should rip in a car that lite.

A lot of you get hung up on HP and torque numbers when weight is just as important.

The new base C7 Corvette 6.2-liter LT1 engine puts out 460 horsepower (343 kW) and 465 lb.-ft. of torque (630 Nm) at 4,600 rpm w/ the optional performance exhaust system. The new LT1 also has a 6,600 rpm redline and a relatively high compression ratio of 11.5:1.

A 475hp stock Mustang would be crazy, and I dont really believe this. BUT, if its true, I'll make the switch to Ford, unless they make the next Mustang look like a Fusion..I'm pretty sure the 6th Gen will look better, as usual.

It wouldn't be hard to get 475 with the Coyote but I agree, I don't think Ford would drop 475 in a base GT. IF they did, that would kick ass cause the current 420 5.0 is already a beast.
