Happy hump day all. I am actually thinking of taking the Camaro out for a ride this weekend. Right now the forecast is sunny and in the 40's so if it stays dry I may do it. I really miss it and have not even started it since early December.

I'm with you Zandron. I REALLY want to get Lightning out and go for a spin. I can't remember back far enough to know when was the last time I started it. I. NEED. SOME. CAMARO. THERAPY. NOW.

I'm at work now but still half asleep. NEED MORE COFFEE NOW! Looks like the start of another day of no-shows. NOT good. Maybe it will turn around.

After all those years my body's timeclock is screwed up. I retired on 1/1/13 and after two months still can't get into a normal sleep schedule. Guess it just takes patience and time. Oh well, until then, I just need to hang in there.

Thanks for all the nice comments to my post about getting the cold shoulder. Sure makes me feel better.
moserbe and LBM, my grandpa was a night watchman and had a hard time adjusting to a "normal schedule" and so did my soldier son. Sleep is a complex function!

Good morning all!

Going to be sunny and 80* today. Yesterday was in the high 70's, necessitating an evening top-down ride in the Camaro. While cruising, I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Sirius-XM getting my service turned back on.

Moserby, my wife is an RN that has worked the 7PM to 7AM shift for over 20 years. She would be home during the day and I would be home during the night for our kids. Next job she gets, she's going back to daylight, and we're wondering how she will adjust. She gets hungry around 1 AM, which is lunch time when she is at work.

Yep, a bad habit you get working for the government. Speaking of working for the government, we all got our furlough notices today in the FAA. They had to give us 30 days notice, so beginning the 7th of April we're all cut from 80 hours a pay period, down to 72 hours. Not a big hit for us with military retirements, but others not so lucky will feel a pinch every 2 weeks for a while. The bad part of all this is the loss of some of our contractor support. Some have been let go permanently (3 in our office alone) and some with big cuts in their hours. I feel bad for them for sure. I know us Feds have a bad rep, but we've got a lot of good people doing good things in the FAA anyway. We'll see how this all works out. The price we have to pay to live in the greatest country on earth. Oh well, lunch half hour over and back to work.....

Yeah, DoD has it bad, huh? I work for an agency with federal funding. No cuts yet, but once our contingency funds run out............who knows?

No chaos at work today!!! WOW!! It was busy in the morning, but slowed down in the afternoon to allow us time to do things like pull outdated drugs, file prescriptions, vacuum, dust... it was a really nice day

Good evening crew. Only my last 2 clients of the day showed up. I was beginning to think the day would be a total loss. Maybe tomorow will be better. I hate being bored. The weather is supposed to warm up for the weekend. Maybe Ruby will get a bath.
