Just about any AR15 is fun to shoot, but can get expensive pretty quick if you get trigger happy

I've been enjoying bolt action .308 at 200 & 300 yards, bullets are higher, but a box of 20 lasts an hour or so, (shooting for tight group), compared to AR15 20rds lasting about 15 seconds

You might be onto something there... Fortunately it's not for me... I won't let myself buy any guns.

Nice choice!

That's why I went with a 1911 in 9mm (STI Shadow in 9mm). Not as expensive to shoot.

In a good way right...

Here's a video of The Mistress being fired. Ignore round #3... it seemed to be a dud and lost elevation at 40 yards-out. The other rounds were on the board but not grouped and within 1 foot of each other. I was just glad to land them around the target at 150 yards using iron sights - I need a scope to even be able to see the target much less the bullseye.

The daughter has talked me into renting the .500 Magnum at the range on Thanksgiving. We'll see if I survive it. The .44 Magnum was plenty big enough for my tastes.

The .460 is chambered for .45LC and .454 as well. I ran some 45LC's thru her and the weight of the gun, barrel length and compensator take all the excitement out of it. The Hornady .460 rounds are really fun for a shelf item.
