Thanks everyone! The first few days were killer but it got much easier to diet over the past 3 months. Plus seeing the results really helps to motivate me. Down 3 pants sizes already, close to 4.

Today was a prime example of me and heat not getting along. It was 94 degrees with 40% humidity. Went for a 2.7m walk outside - got over heated and I have had a terrible headache all day and have not been able to cool down. Freaking blows...

I watched a Weather Channel show about how different weather conditions impact on athletics & olympic sports. They talked about athletes in the heat as one topic & said the athletes can take a capsule to monitor core temp. But with all out technology guess what they use to bring down core temps?.....................an Icy or Slurpy. I remembered that when I got overheated at C5 Fest with the high heat, humidity, no AC in the cars when racing, having to wear long pants & a helmet............lets just say it was not a recipe that worked very well for me. So, diet be damed, I went & got me an icy! It worked. Just FYI. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks! Yeah I heard that too! It would be cool to have one of those capsules to know. I had really old water waiting in the car and then we went and jumped in the cold springs which is 68 degrees. That helped a little but my headache didn't get better till about an hour ago. I know it's weird. My Dads the same way, our veins just don't expand enough, and we get heat exhaustion.

Hopefully the weekend off did you some good. If you REALLY don't want to take the week off, which I still would suggest, you might consider to do one week with JUST lifting and no cardio of any kind. That would help reduce some of the stress your body is taking that's making you feel like that. A week won't kill you, and you'll probably come back stronger than you are now I take a week (or sometimes even two) about every 12-14 weeks just for some solid recovery time. It really makes me feel better, and I get back in with even more drive, focus, and motivation than I had before the break.

Okay, getting frustrated now. I guess I may have to give up on losing the rest of the tummy. Now I'm getting too skinny in places that well............ look better not so skinny. Trade-offs I guess. So...................now I need to stop losing weight. I need to figure this out as I do not want to put any weight back on. I suppose I still need to add more weight work & cut back on the aerobic stuff. Maybe add back in a few calories? any guidance?
