You almost have me starting another tax and trade rant. Screw it. Here is comes.

Airbus is coming to build planes in the USA. They are going the same route as the transplant auto companies. Non union low wage jobs in the South. This is how America treats home grown companies.

In what may be the strongest signal yet of the new pro-labor orientation of the National Labor Relations Board under President Obama, the agency filed a complaint Wednesday seeking to force Boeing to bring an airplane production line back to its unionized facilities in Washington State instead of moving the work to a nonunion plant in South Carolina.

Pro Labor Who are they kidding? We live in a global economy. The competition is brutal. Decisions like this moronic example make it worse. Do you really think 'THEY' are protecting labor. It is political Kabuki theater and the working man is buying the tickets, a five course dinner and a five star hotel for people that could care less about them.

Solid established tax paying Boeing cannot have a low wage non union plant, but hey bring the European Airbus in, give them tax credits to build a new plant in Alabama and let them erode at Boeing's sales in the USA and around the world subsidized by the USA government in dollars and by policy with a low wage non union plant in the South. REALLY!?!

The Government did drop the case against Boeing after a costly battle. Were this China, Airbus would have to find an American company to partner with. This is the USA doormat to the world. Are we really this idiotic as a country? Are the citizens of the USA this blind? There is a movie, dumb and dumber. This is the sequel DUMBEST.

Sorry guys, the problem isn't GM. The problem is US as in YOU and ME. We elect these idiots that make idiotic decisions. If this isn't a wake-up call, what is?

I wish it was just one President that was responsible. The Boeing / Airbus example is just the most obvious and recent.

What is really funny is I don't think government subsidies are permitted in the EU.

You can see the problems everyday caused by unions and NLRB. They're not really pro worker.

From what I see out of DC and the Unions their only interest is in lining their pockets at the direct expense of the working man. As one of our founding fathers said a little revolution / rebellion is a good thing. The bureaucrats from unions and political parties do more harm than good. Time to revolt and shake things up at the ballot box in November and for years to come. Let them have one or two terms and replace them with fresh ideas and faces.

Elected officials should be like pigs and hogs. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. Let the pigs eat at the trough for a short while and replace them. When you see a HUGE fat hog at the trough send it to the slaughter house and I see a lot of HOGS in DC and Unions.

I'm not going to get into politics here (as someone with a degree in Political Science I would be writing a book) because I don't believe it's the place to do so. I come here to talk about cars I love and keep it at that.. But here's some more fuel to the fire, take it for what you will:

Cadillac ATS to promote job-growth in U.S.

Let's be honest, it really won't matter if Romney or Obama are in office post-2012 presidential election. The issues that get the bipartisan extremists riled up will flip, but the core issues driving us into the ground will stay exactly the same. Both parties talk a big game about some economic overhaul that will bring the US back into prosperity, but they're both going to reappoint the same advisers, the same board at the Fed, and continue with the same BS. Congress and the Supreme Court need major overhauls before any large scale change will take place. The CPD 15% rule needs to be overturned before the right or left see any real threat of change and are forced to act. Both parties are bought by the same people and until some beacon of democracy can shine through the soot, it's going to continue. Obama, Romney, whatever. They'll campaign on _______ and for all intents and purposes have the same economic policies in the end. The only thing that will change is whether Fox is talking about birth control or healthcare in 2013.
