I personally think its a good thing if GM, Ford and Chrysler sell in China, in fact its about time since they import so much to the USA. I think GM is gonna build some cars in China and sell them to the citizens there which is a good thing and lastly do you know what China's best selling vehicle is?...It's a Buick....lol

I didn't think you were trying to be rude. Actually its a very fair question. So heres my answer:

I never really hated GM. They were always just kinda...there. I've pretty much driven Mustangs my whole life. I love them bc to me they are fun to drive and the exhaust sounds fantastic on them. Plus they were/are the more affordable pony car.

I was extremely happy with my 03 Cobra that I had before I got the Camaro. Only thing was that I bought it used and it had some issues...and it was a vert so it leaked and its a bit too hot in Texas for a vert IMO. Since it was my only car and I didn't want the engine or something to go out completely I sold it. Being unable to swing $30k for a used 5.0 at the time, I settled for this Camaro. I work for a GM dealer so they really helped me out. However, the more I drive this car...I don't know. The design is great, it looks good, but the downsides outweigh the positives for me. For one, the V6 is lethargic in terms of power and is HIGHLY overpriced. The interior is a sea of plastic, the car has gone back for service 3 times already in 6 months and I'm scheduling it again for a spoiler bolt that let go and is rattling around in the decklid....as well as what I think is an exhaust pipe vibration that sounds like crap everytime I hit a bump. The kicker is this is the most expensive car ive owned, and it has impressed me the least. Plus the fun-poking from the V8 Camaro crowd is the worst I've experienced..nothing like the brotherhood comraderie of Mustang clubs I've been in where they were just excited you had a Mustang.

I know Ford makes their transmissions in China...and that sucks. I don't believe they should be doing that. However, at least they arent catering to the political party there which I wont discuss bc I don't do politics.

At any rate, that's why I would like another Mustang. But I don't frown on the Camaro crowd or the Challenger crowd or any enthusiast crowd. The Camaro is a nice car....unfortunately I don't feel its the right car for me that's all.

In all fairness, you're comparing apples to oranges.. You rave about owning the 5.0 then complain about your V6...

Same Here, I have driven Mustang's for years and thats been my problem I was sooo burnt out on them and I bought a new 2012 5.0 last year, it ran great but I was unhappy with it I guess because of burn out. I love my new SS and it runs pretty close to my 5.0 Mustang and luckily I havent had 1 problem with it and the styling on the Camaro is so much better in my opinion but I will always love Ford and its great what they accomplished without having to get Govt. loans but it could have easily been Ford as well they were all in bad shape. I dont think its so much quality its because there are so many imports allowed into this country and people who try and justify buying those imports say "they are built in the USA" and maybe some are however at the end of the day the PROFITS go straight to Tokyo, South Korea or wherever they are from so I am glad we still have the Mustang and the Camaro its been a great rivalry and will be for many years to come. (I hope)....I dont think you can go wrong with either car.

GM just added 800 jobs to their Arlington plant. All in due time, but GM is adding jobs as well.
